    What is a good additive to a aluminum sulfate pickle.

    cooter, you should go to the old forum and do a search on aluminum sulfate, do some reading and you will find that there are newer acids such as safety acid that is much better to use. Where did you find the idea to use aluminum sulfate? It is considered an old fashion tan.
    Rittel's Safety Acid is the way to go if you want a good pickle.
