Hey urmrk where did you get that crayfish? Vandykes? I like the way it turned out.
yes, it was van dykes, thanks
Gary, wish I would have thought of that before I moved from Ohio to the middle of the ocean. lol
Nice postings of everyones fish, well done.
Dan great carvings, they're beautiful. Curious to know how you get you scale patterns in the wood, burn them in? I'd like to learn how to carve fins like that for my fish. Love the action.
Hi happy new year everyone, some great looking fish.
Great looking fish this week. That steelhead and the carvings are awesome. What a great start 2009!!
nice fish, everyone
here is my rare contribution. found this picture laying in the depths of my computer. not a huge fish by any means but the customers love it.
nice "ski" Dan!!!!
Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2009 is off to a fun and rewarding start.
Rich... The detail found in your work is incredible- and ALWAYS inspiring.
Dan... Wow! Love the rainbow; that was one to stop and stare at for a long while (and I'll probably go back and stare some more).
34" reproduction pike (Lake Country). It was a delight to paint. The spoon was the customer's request.
Have a terrific week everyone!
A close-up of the head.
Awesome job Terry......
Hi great job on that fish Terry,do you have any full body shots.
you mean, other than the one he posted on pg. 2? LOL
Nice job Terry.
This is a show peice for my State Competition. ( Commercial Div. ) Started it a little early and the show isn't till March! LOL ;D
First Crappie, With some real thick ARP fins ( they are the worst ) I thought I would finish the fish anyway. I casted another for back up. Not like my first finishing job on a crappie is going to be very good anyway.
Rick, love the Porgy – everything from the composition to the nuts and bolts of it!
Don, your Smallmouths are lookin’ great!
Rich, nice chromer!
Dan, those Rainbow carvings are absolute gems!
Terry, sweet Pike, great paint on what looks to be a super nice blank!
Well, this is the first fish finished for me this year: A replica of a 28lb. Skeena River, BC summer-run Steelhead. And of course, the eyes are painted from Jeff Lumsden’s Still Life lenses…
Here is an outside picture of it...
Here is a little tighter in shot...
Nice fish everybody. Terry-great waterwolf. UFD un-freaking-believable as usual. May just have to have you do a fish for me someday.
