I have a rattlesnake that I'm going to mount, but I would also like to keep its skull. Any suggestion on how to flesh it? I've heard that the bones are too soft to boil and they just boil away.

Sarge A little too much Lord *hic*

Just beware of the fangs the residue on them can really hurt if you scratch your self by accident, I found out the hard way when I was a kid and found a dead one. :'(

The only way to clean it the right way as well as the skeleton is to use beetles. If you don't have a colony, then send it out to be done for you. Any other method WILL ruin it.
