WHY CAN'T I POST ON HERE!!!!
Opps! I was looking at the worng page!
This damn thing defaults to page 1. Ok. Where's my sign?
This is a Joe Meder form. Semi Sneak. I love these. Lots of detail.
I've figured out how to post pics now. Yall watch out! I'm dangerous now!
Kevin, that's like having an ugly baby. What looks good to you is exactly why some of us DON'T like the Mear's form. Thank you for a visual reminder of why I DON'T like them.
I have to agree with ya George
Change this thread title to "aren't most forms incorrect at the base of the jaw" and get Uncle Glenn in here. He surely can shed some light with his sumbeechin pitures.
George re-read his post he said that was a Meder form he used in that pic.
I do agree with George...but not exactly along the same lines.
One of the complaints I have with McKenzie forms is that the jaw is too deep and the face too narrow. It seems like I have seen several deer from Dennis mounted on McKenzie forms, without complaints about the deep heads. But I think it all boils down to how the rest of the head is shaped to go along with it.
I have mounted on a few Mears forms. But none of his newest giants. The ones I have used fit fantastically in the head and upper neck area. But the shoulders were too big and I did some alterations to the brisket.
GREAT I JUST BOUGHT 3 OF THEM DAM FORMS, ALL OF THEM ARE 17 ISH SO DEFFINITALY NOT HUGE, ARE THEY ALL JUNK TOOO?
Beautiful work as always Eddie, I am getting ready to mount up a few on his aggressive pose.
Thanks Matt..But you know it sure is a struggle to make them look good on a Mears form. LOL!
I used two of them last year and the same thing, fought them from one end to the other. Meder fit great everywhere but the lip line, and I just cut it a bit longer and dont have a lick of problems.
I have mounted 3 deer on them and haven’t had any issues .
This is 12 year old post
My bad lol been under a rock for a while , thanks 13
