And a mallard about to choke on a fish LOL

  3. Something you don't see everyday? I have never seen either. That is an awesome mallard pic. Guess he thinks he is a diver.

  4. The first bird is clearly a ruby headed floor flusher....duh....

The second is a snake head devouring a Green Head.... :D

    :D :D :D
And everybody holds the mighty greenhead to such high standards. They are opportunistic and eat a wide variety of crap. I will continue to shoot ducks, not just mallards, and eat them all. Great picture Jeremy.

I can name it. It's a cross between cool and ugly. Am I right?

  9. I am going to say its a mille fluer d'anver, did anyone else notice the rose comb??? It almost looks like the spangling/mottling is on a brassy back base instead of the normal buff/red columbian.

    Nice duck, lol

Becky P One must believe the glass is half full.

I had a pair of Millies several years ago. The hen was as sweet as a silkie, the little rooster was a devil. He ended up losing an eye somehow. If you were on his seeing side, he'd get ya. If you were on his blind side, you could pick him up and he was calmly sit there.
