Might be a dumb qestion but im gonna ask?

  1. When doing small mamals and water fowl are sutures stong enough to use to sew with? I was thinkin (when I found a web site that has 100 for $21.95) it would be easier to sew with. Has any one ever done this and what was the outcome?

    George The older I get, the better I was.

    No, they won't be any easier, you'll still have to sew them but with forceps (or suture pullers) instead of your fingers. You could buy a whole lot of Fireline and a needle for that price.

    Do as George said . Buy some taxidermy needles and fishing line . Different lb test for different critters. Rick

    i use sutures because my fiance is a nurse and brings them home, and i only like them to fix really small holes
