posing a standing male woodduck

    Having porblems getting the side bar feathers to lie flat. Any suggestions on how to do this.

    With out seeing any pictures it is usually due to the wing hanging to far down and forcing them out away from the body!

  4. well im actually right in the middle of a standing drake wood duck so i took some pics

    i think this is what you mean

    as compared to this

    grab a good amount of the feathers and pull them up from the bottom of the wing along with all the exta skin you can get
    obviously you can only tug as hard as the feathers will allow you

    then pin the wing and if you really need it the actuall side pockets to the wing and groom hope this helps! ;)
