    dang guys sorry, I'm following the post in the tutorials and as far as I know I'm doing what it says. I'm going to consult a professional before I try this again

    OK, not only are you guys taxidermists, your magicians! Thanks Jim! I'm not sure what I'm doing but I'm gonna get someone to figure me out. Since its here, thanks to Jim, this client caught his fish as it was feeding on a school of shad. Some of my shad are carved, some are painted into the picture and some are partially carved and partially painted in for a 3-D effect. The colors in the photo are a little brighter than the real thing. Thanks again Jim

    Remember... then, your link to your picture starting with----> http:// XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX .jpg [img/] You have----> http://[/i[IMG] which is screwing up the link tag.

    Check your links before you post by using the Preview button.

    if you are using photobucket you only need to copy and paste the img code,
    do not use the insert img button when you post or you will end up with two [img/][img/] at the beginning and end.

    thanks guys for the help, yeah I am using photo bucket and according to the tutorial (if I'm understanding it right) you click on the insert image button when the two "img" cursers come up you click in between the two and paste your picture. I'll try it again later using your advice. I'm just not a computer person.

    Just my 2 cents

    You don't need to use the IMG button. I posted on a lot of forums before there were "buttons".

    You can type img(in brackets....this is a bracket[ ]) before

    and then [/img] after.

    Those just need to be there for the image to show up. When you use Photobucket or similar they add the symbols for you.....so if you double up it does not work.

    SO....LOOK at your photolink before you hit POST. the IMG.../IMG should only be there ONCE.

    If your using photo bucket it puts the [/img] bracket their for you.
    Do not use the img button. Just copy photobucket img code, then paste.
