I have skinned a mallard and degreased it on the wheel. Cleaned it with dawn, re-wheeled and re-cleaned it in dawn. My question from here is what do I do from here to finish and complete the tanning process? I have seen some people talk about soaking it in Liqua-cure for the alotted amount of time, tumble, then mount. Is this the right way to do it? Looking for what has worked.

I have tanned bird skins for mounting in the past, but found that it was useless , just use dp. or borax is the best way to go !

I have birds that I have tanned just like a deer hide, formic acid, lutan-f "NO" oil :) I no longer do it. I just DP ....The tanned one's after many years still look nice though.
