Bottom jaw, below the teeth. Do you need to open that bone up and clean anything out?
are you cleaning the hog's head w/ bugs or maceration?? ??? In either case-- small holes (1/8") drilled on the inside of the lower jaw will permit the dermestid beetles or the bacteria in the maceration liquid to get into the inside of the jaw bone-- also, when you degrease the bone, the dawn/ammonia solution will get in and do a great job of getting the grease out.
If no one else responds, send a note to Sea Wolff-- she has a bunch more experience w/ skull cleaning than I- ;D
also if possible place it into really strong peroxide it eats everything. all the meat in the jaw bone will be gone and the tusks should come out.
