oldterryr Terry's in Heaven with no worries at all.

i use jonas water base paint and have been putting the paint on in thin washes - normally about 5-7 to get it looking right - i normally put some water in whatever is handy and ssquirt some paint in - tonite i was looking for something to put water in and my eyes fell on a cotton ball - i squirted water in it and then a little paint on top - i then preceded to make a very good looking nose with one application - try this little trick on anything that needs a thin coat
