I have been bondoing deer ears for about 6 years, now, thanks to George (just kidding George ;D), I want to try my hand at ear liners. With bondo you can freeze the hide after its been bondo, so you can work up a few before mounting. Question is can you freeze the cape after you glue in the earliners?....I am using a 2 part epoxy glue. Bill
  2. i know people (taxis) that use earliners and to glue the hide they use bondo instead of glue and they refreeze the but i dont know if you can if you use glue and refreeze it. but i thought i would metion the bondo idea to you.

When using epoxy you will be fine freezing. I would avoid freezing if you are using buckeye, or something similar.

are ear liners better then wire?

i basically use a rug form in the head and stuff and stitch the rest of the body so its a stuffed animal.
are ear liners better for this type of work?
