    Got a couple of questions.....

Are they plankton feeders? Do you actually catch them on a lure or bait? When I lived in Kansas many moons ago I thought they had a short legal snagging season on them?

    Good eating?

  3. Snag only...yes only filter feeders..Jan 1st to April 15th is the season...and they are great eating

    It would be cool..........

It would be cool to make a reproduction of just the head and bill.

Got any small ones just laying around in the freezer LOL

Nope! We have run into them while crappie fishing. I can see how one or 2 might swim across the line and hook themselves, but we caught about 10.
