    Got a couple of questions.....

    Are they plankton feeders? Do you actually catch them on a lure or bait? When I lived in Kansas many moons ago I thought they had a short legal snagging season on them?

  3. Snag only...yes only filter feeders..Jan 1st to April 15th is the season...and they are great eating

    sweet, are those pretty typical as far as size go? i've never had the chance to fish for them, but i bet its a blast.

    Nope! We have run into them while crappie fishing. I can see how one or 2 might swim across the line and hook themselves, but we caught about 10.
