Tragedy averted

    I use this clear coat all the time, I buy it at the home center with a big blue logo. Silly me not thinking a product called "gloss protective enamel" came in colors. Luckily I checked it first.

    Try krylon crystal clear. and krylon triple thick.

    might have been a pretty fish after hitting it with that. Well, maybe not. LOL.

    Yup...I have so many aerosol cans sitting around, that I never assume its clear gloss or sealer without test spraying on something...I've done exactly what you avoided doing!

    I think burgundy looks great with black stripes, probably more so on a camaro than your fish.

    Heck, I don't even trust the label. I had one that was mislabeled once.

    thats good info i always read before spraying, didnt think about that.
    oh and good save i would have been sick
