just wondering what is the best fininish to use on rattlesnakes.... I've tried krylon gloss , matte and i tried wd-40 it worked for awhile but it seems to work for awhile and then looks back to the old dry finish. Just wondering what everybody works.

Go to Walmart or Hobby Lobby and get a bottle of Modge Podge Matte finish and brush a heavy coat on the entire snake except the eyes and rattle. This will seal all scales and give the snake a realistic look. You can seal the rattles if they are damaged or to deter people from fooling with them. Make sure you get the matte finish. It has the yellow label.
