Remove and lower wood in form head

    George The older I get, the better I was.

    Back in my drinking days, two fingers of bourbon was OK, but I never used them on deer. Always measured each and every deer from the pedicel to the center of the eye orbit or pupil. Most of them here tend to be right around 2 5/8 inches but I never trust them all to be that way.

    I'd say to use Bill's fingers for the Bourbon measuring.

    We were setting antlers yesterday. Had one set the pedicles were different distances from the eye & the angle they grew from the skull was different. But the tape never lies.
