repo heads and fins

    Slick Something smells fishy?

    I am wondering what is the best way to mold and cast fish heads and fins.I am going to try it soon.Is anyone else having the new forum pages load really slow or not at all.

    There may not be "a" best way. I have used silicon, alginate, bondo, and plaster to cast. If done correctly I seriously doubt you can get any better then bondo and resign. Silicon is good but too expensive for most applications. Plaster is such a cheap alternative and it works great if you use it properly. Of course alginate will rporducte a great head but once again you have to know hoe to mix properly and to use it correctly. I would pay attention to anything Bruch puts the pen to.
