Okay I didn't really take any photo at this part but here is what I did.

I fleshed the skin on my wire wheel.
Then I washed the skin multiple times with Dawn and then rinsed multiple times.
Then I soaked the skin in White Gas. 30 mins
Then I hung the skin so the gas can evaporate.
Then I put borax on the flesh side and tumbled about 10 mins
I blow dried the feathers, make sure you get the down dry or the feathers will be matted down.

    thanks everyone
    How I did the neck.
I bought a Bird mounting "Kit" from McKenzie. which includes a Body, Flexible foam neck, Artificial head and Eyes.
I just attach the neck by running the wire through the body and bent the wire over into the foam body.

Detaching the legs makes it a lot easier. I detach on all of my birds.
Hoss0902 - Why didn't you paint the bill before you attached the artificial head? Painting before attaching makes it so much easier.
