freeze dry or not, and who can do it for me? I do not do turtles. My son got a soft shelled turtle last year and Kerby cast it for him and it looks great, well now he got a snapping turtle and i want to get it done for him, can any one help as i am not a reptile guy.

  2. I would definetally skin mount it. I could give you a price if i knew the size.

We freeze dry a lot of snappers with great results and many happy customers.

No offense to Tom, I'm sure he'd do a great job. But if you were happy with Kerby, why aren't you talking to HIM about this? Just curious...

If I was going to ever have a turtle freeze dried you are the only one that would get it Joe. You my friend do not produce junk like you see at the old roadside souvenir stands when someone claims to have a freeze dried turtle. You are a class act and very good at what you do. Dan

  9. They only look like crap if the person doing it doesn't give a $hit about the quality of their work. Here is a 22 pounder I recently did. With freeze drying, prep work is everything.

Which is unfortunate because that really is an excellent job on that snapper.
