We don't know what the colorful one is. If anyone recognizes it, feel free to say what it is. ;)

Hi Bill. ;) I figured I'd take it to those who'd know. It sure is a cute little critter.

    Yes

Yes that is a Collared Lizard (Crotophtus collaris) and it is a male.

And the other is a Horned Lizard, either a Texas Horned Lizard (Phrynosoma cornutum) or a Short-Horned Lizard (Phrynosoma hernandesi) depending upon where in Colorado it was found, a back head shot would confirm.

    :)

Id love to have a collared lizard, those are pretty nice looking. Or at least try to paint one sometime. Are they legal to get or have?

    Bill,

Bill, they are legal to harvest here in Arizona. I can get you one, plus I want to mold some. I can't sell it to you....but I can gift one to you. I will see what I can do here shortly for you.

    :)

Good to know Kerby. Thank you. The horny toad was found on the Western Slope of Colorado, near DeBeque. And I'd love to do a collared lizard too Bill. They're just cool looking.
