After applying liqui tan to my hides and letting them soak up, i often get some of the oil on the fur side, its it ok for me to was the hide to get the liqui tan out or will it wash the tan out also?

    You can wash them.

  3. As long as the tan sits for the recommended time you can wash off the residual oils without affecting the tan. I used to rinse them good and then tumble them in hardwood sawdust to get them clean and the hair semi dry for mounting.
