Fighting Pheasants mount

  1. I have done a few pheasants but not fighters. Let me know what you think.

    Yeah me too ;D I did a pheasant flying out of a wheat field.I used some stuff that kinda looks like your grass ,but it was really long and stringy(don't know what it what called) but wrapped it around the wire and you can't tell how he's held up ;)

    Yep, I would hide that support wire as well

    heres a tip that may help you, sometimes you can take habitat that has stems and run the wire through the stem itself, ive done it with a duck mount...run the wires up and out of cat tails.

    I like the mount. I would add some more habitat in between the birds and put some under the tail facing it the direction of the motion of bird, like the bird is pushing the habitat down with it's weight. Also feet need painting. Nice mate.
