If you are testing stop-rot as an alcoholic beverage or as a hang over preventative, please keep us posted to the effects. Story Lady is in bad need.

Just posted this on a different thread, but this stuff seems pretty close. My wife uses it for her horses and it works the same as stop rot on wounds.

Oxidized Water, Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), and Sodium Chloride (NaCl).

Very well could be, but it feels the same, works the same, and is safe to handle like stop rot is. Bottom line, prob will never know. :)

Nothing more than hydrogen peroxide, buffered clorox bleach and salt....

    Not even close.

Cyclone have you eve tested stop rot to see whats in it? Not asking for the ingredients, just wondering if you've ever tested it out of your own curiosity?

    No, not really Cyclone.
I haven't done any taxidermy for a couple years now.

But I always have a couple bottles of Glenn's magic on the shelf.
FYI, It does an awesome job on eye infections!

I wonder if it will help Psoriasis, I think I'm gonna fill up the bathtub and soak in it awhile. It might be cheaper to just drink a big ole slug. Let's see, burbon and coke and a splash of stoprot, takes care of badbreath, toothache, anything else that ails you. I keep a little burbon around to prevent toothache.

George, I never drink enough to get a headache. If I ever do get one, I'll just throw in some mitochondrial nucleic enzymes, I'm sure it'll knock it right out. lol!

White vinegar or rubbing alcohol work just as good as stop rot ! Save your money. ;)

Not even close, Stop Rot has an ingredient that reverses decay, it has healing properties.

George The older I get, the better I was.

Just what we need; a rocket surgeon . Yep that's the guy I'd listen to.

Dang, wish you guys would have told me 30 year ago that those things don't kill bacteria ! Stop rot reverses decay ?!

  17. Stop Rot may be similar to Vetericyn, but it's damned sure less expensive! I don't know what's in Stop Rot, but I do know that when the wife grabs that spray bottle instead of her sugar water to spray down her bees when placing nucs in hives... honey production suffers greatly in that hive! Don't ask me how I know...
