I just got my new FFG magazine and there is a photo of a lady with a huge bass in her lap. The article said it was 22 lbs 4 oz and if verified, will tie George Perry's WR fish. Anyone else hear anything about that bass... caught in Japan? And of course I wonder if she kept it or... did something else ;).

Yeah, I'm been reading about in my Bass Times and other publications. It's up to the IGFA to determine whether or not it will be allowed as a CO WR. There are some issues that they are trying to determine. If I remember right there are some issues about it actually being just a smidgen less in weight than Perry's. But because they are both listed at 22.4 lbs that they would probably listed as a "CO".
