Clay is hardening

    My critter clay is hardening on me in the plastic bag. i tried putting some water in the bottom of the bag yet know results. Help?

    water it down and FREEZE IT ;D

    AFWS is right. after you water it down put it in the freezer for a day or two

    Wrap it in a damp towel and put it in a plastic bag it will stay workable.

    If mine is getting alittle hard to work with, I simply mist some lysol/water mix over it in the bag. I also keep it in a ziplock bag.

    If mine starts to harden, I put water in it and store it in the Fridge.

    I purchased a 25 pound box quite some time ago and use this method. Just the other day I cut about a 5 pound piece off it and there is no problem with it.

    And I don't store it in the Fridge/freezer.

    I have had good luck keeping it in a zip lock bag on the counter, it has lasted a long long time and still no drying out, as long as it doesn't dry out, you are alright.
