I have a deer with a semi sneak, sharp right turn. I want the head to point a little more down as if it was to but heads with another. I'm not sure the best way to cut the head to reposition it. i was thinking of half moon cut so the head will just rotate. Any advice would help.

When a deer moves its head at the atlas joint, there is going to be some muscle movement. The top of the neck is going to stretch and the bottom will swell a little. I understand what you are trying to do. If you don't move it to much, you may get away with it. There are a few tutorials on altering forms, but not exactly for what you are looking for. Good luck with it.
