This red had a few broken ribs as you can see from the hump on her side.

    Happy New Year everyone.

Nice looking red fish!!! I need to attempt a repro red sometime. I have only caught one in my life. I was fishing off of a pier while on a family vacation with wife and sons family in Florida. It wasn't very big but man did it fight. I believe it even out fought a comparable smallie!!!!

Good job on the chum Matt!!
Here are a few pictures of a fun project. An 8-pound largemouth, big for my neck of the woods in Minnesota.

First I made a mold of the fish plus two extra molds of the head.

Made a couple 6-inch blue gill molds to go with the project.

Then I did a skin mount of the bass with one of the extra heads I made from the fish.

Other sunfish replica installed in mouth of the skin mount.

Also, I made a mold of the bass's eyes and casted a couple pair for both mounts.

Custom work for sure and a blast to do!
Keep up the good work everybody and keep the pictures coming!
