Is this a mule or whitetail rack ?
Could be either, but lack of eye gaurds and the length of the fork makes me think mule deer.
i would say white tail
x3 on the whitetail
White tail..... all the points G1 G2 etc. come off the main beam.
if you had another skull cap you might be able to compare, mulies are wider across the face. looks pretty w.t. shaped, but no brows would make me guess muley...
Looks like a small muley to me. Some muleys have eye guards and some do not.
Some trashy whitetails don't have G1's either.
6 say whitetail and 4 mulie uh oh. I'm no further ahead LOL.
In areas where they have a drought during the antler growing season the browtines are the first to go so it is really hard to say. Im going with whitetail.
Its a muley. I see them like that all the time. when they are 2 or 3 years old in my area they ten to have a rack like that. no brow tines is also a good hint. I'm 99% sure.
how many mulies have the rust color on their forehead....I thought they were black
In the pictures I notice a saw, fresh skin, bone, and brain. What did you cap it off of?
I think it's a mulie. As far as the hair color, lots of mulies have rust color in their forehead.
Looks like a mulie to me
