    I used a charcoal pencil for the first time applying the markings along the belly.

    first pedestal mount. pulled from the same mold as the last gill i did, but i am much happier with this one.

    First time post on this forum with finished product for me.
    Great work you all! Great inspiration also.
    Thanks to Angling Artisan's Alaska colors Hog Bow post, Nice job!
    This is a reproduction with Kenai River Alaska fall colors.
    32" L x 21" girth.
    Am having a time getting the photo out of Photobucket and into the post.

  16. Thought I'd finally post in here. First fish, and it looked like it. First competition. Hand painted, and it looked like it. LOL

    Rick gave me an honest critique on this at the 09 Illinois conv. and so did, Ken Bauman at the Indiana convention. Both stand-up guys and judges. Although I got what I deserved, or a little better on the fish ribbons (2nd and 3rd) , I did take home the Van Dyke's and Starfish. Happy with that.

    I can get the code into the window, then hit preview and nothing but the type shows.

    I'll get it figured out somehow.
