I enjoy seeing all of the nice pieces being on this site. Thought I would post a nice mature rooster that I shot in the Texas panhandle. Paul

My current Work in Progress is my actual workshop itself! LOL
Doing abit of revamping so can't mount anything til it's in better shape. Freezer full of goodies tho so it'll keep me busy over spring and summer.

  10. ***i'm not complaining (never!) about my work or my customers! every single day should be a holiday ... and a blessing that i can do what i always wanted to do!!!

Here is the result of a 2 day puzzle ... name of the game: F.U.B.A.R.!!!
    FUBAR x 1.000 = ???

I don't know the reason why this customer decided to send me some skins instead of full birds, and let me try what i can do with them, from the pics you will notice that they look like have been skinned with a dull hatchet and a rusty hacksaw ... and his measurements probably would fit a very big honker , or a decent swan ::)

one of the skins ..as i got them, into a bag

the other skin, after one flesh and wash, getting ready for second round of fun, (notice the length of the wing and leg bones)

    and voila..the magick

I wish she came from the whitehouse. .....but no such luck.

She came from a friend who had her 43 years. Skeleton was donated to a friend. and the mount is going in the showroom.

When hunting Ocellated Turkeys there's the option of taking Brockett Deer.
I think this hunter put the wrong loads in his shotgun and it appears he shot it out of the roost with buckshot. I spent a good amount of time sewing the holes and large tears.
Good thing I've got spare legs.
