As others have written, a tough bird to do -- especially for a hack taxi like me !!

Makes me even more appreciate all the tweetie bird mounts that I see posted here.
And then to see a flying woodcock mount by Eduardo (?). Wow.

Here's my first woodcock mount. Had in my freezer for 3 years before I got up the courage to try the mount.
Oh well, the next one should go a lot better. : )

Seen reference of ducks stretching like this but never done one. Was using this woodies wing back to line everything up and really liked the look.

I live about 15 minutes from an over flow swamp. So whether I'm hunting or fishing I always keep my eyes open for some old drift.

  19. Well Brazos, I can say that I share and love the dead mounts! So much versatility in pose and size, hybrids are awesome. Cinnamon looks like he's a second generation or maybe its the picture. Great example of species together in a mount that wouldn't look right if standing or flying together but from a sum product of a hunt perfect sense.

Both hybrids were shot out of the same blind, same day.

Was with Shane smith and another guy that raises birds and plays with hybrids quite a bit. One is solid cinn/bwt. Second was thought to be spoon x cinn but then maybe mom was a spoon and dad this bwt x cinn. No telling.
