What's on your workbench?

Fresh off the workbench, super stud of a euro wigeon taken in lower 48. Going into a marsh scene of a coffee table display case I had built. Still have another euro drake, euro hen, and euro x American hybrid left to put in there. Glad to finally be able to get to these!

Eric, Cool looking bird and great mount!

 

Eric-great looking euro. That is a "stud" bird. I look forward to seeing it all finished. I'm heading to holland this yr for a trade hunt and planning on piling them up!

 

Should be fun, stock up on those euro teal as well! Always liked him a lot. Segment 2 of 4 for today, American X Euro hybrid. He definitely has a pretty even blend of the parent species. I took a pic of the underwing as well before I put him together and will do the same on the next Euro to post up the speckled underwings just in case it may help with any ID stuff.

Nice job on the birds

 

The last several mounts have been amazing. . Spencer, Brazosboyt, AAR, KMA. Awesome stuff. I haven't had enough time to work on birds, but here are a few that have been done for a couple weeks.

The teal habitat was a water scene gone bad, now it is a snow and ice scene. This isn't out of line on the Green Winged, but the Blue Winged don't stick around here for the snow.

I really like those wigeon. That pheasant is pretty sweet too. Lots of fantastic work on here lately. Keep up the good work everyone.

Nice job, wish we could mount birds like that find song birds dead and have to leave them alone thats sad what a waste, saw a barn owl on the highway this morning guess it got hit by a car early this morning nothing wrong with it and just had to leave it to rot

 

These will be heading to LA in a few weeks for our gator hunt. Hopin for another repeat of last yr.

 

Span that bird is beautiful, just beautiful and a nice mount too. Brazosboyt, I know you study with Shane but your talent can't be taugh so much as guided and you certainly have been guided in the right direction. The dead mount is very nice and it does not look like two flying birds hanging from a foot as many do.
