thank you,really?you can't?? cuz i pull them all out of skin and many are inside!skin bleed while fleshing ,because all feather quills were unripe!totally i think, summer plumage is not convenient for mounting,any how,thank you for compliments!

This is a wood duck that I just finished up yesterday . Once dry it will go on a nice base to compliment it !

What wonderful birds and even a couple neat mammals! I hope I get to mount a caper some time. They are such neat birds. It's never tiring to visit this thread!
