    Nice, I really like the detailing on the first turkey and that hoodie.

    Alright... took a bit of a break in between my second bird and the third... and read everything I could find on how to mount a pigeon before attempting this. Feel free to tear me a new one if necessary, I'm always looking to improve. :)

    Been a few months since I've done any mounts. Knocked out three today. Good to get back at it between hunts.

    Mr. Smith. This thread is for actual birds that are in the process of being mounted. It is not for photographs of live birds or oilpaintings.

    For Gosh sakes where'd your dog sit? Haha! Those benches look like two little piggies went at it.....you should invite Jeff Brown up for the next time that Eugene (Wingman!! ) comes to visit ...I would LOVE to see pictures of that ;) Keep 'em comin'.

    Matt, that is a really beautiful gadwall, I love this ducks, the are grey in grey but they have something special and
    Cheri, my workspace looks like yours even I have cleaned it up

    I would say yes. It was shot in south TX on a mottled duck collection trip. The biologist here try to say that there are no Mexican mallards in TX but I disagree. I've shot piles of em in Mexico and they are just a little difference.

    You can see it's just a bigger bird than the other mottleds.

    Hi my friend all around the world from iran,
    After a very long time being out of taxidermy ,this is a buzzard"not sure about sub-species exactly" on my work bench ordered by a customer.
