  6. Nice job on that mandarin, Brett. Difficult bird for a newbie to tackle. But it came out fantastic. I think you're getting the hang of it :)

    Welcome to the forum lowczy 1987 and you started with a real nice favourite birds of mine, I love the hazel grouse and the Polish sub-species looks interesting different to the Scandinavians I work with,

    Hi Reiner, hazel grouse is most beautiful "small game" bird - for me. I mount several grouse every year, it's real pleasure for me.

  11. Not exactly my workbench, but it was the best lighting to get a picture of this grackle. Here in Ontario, they are legal to hunt with a small game licence.

    I would really like to see them, but Rus Tax all I get are black X. :'( No Pictures.

    I tried, but I can't see the images either.
    I had a nice visit to some Russian Taxidermy forums, though. :)
    I found the thread that the images were linked to but it says that I don't have permission to view them.
