    Those south European birds: hard to get in the North but magnificent to mount!

  7. Thank you guys for your compliments. It means realy much for me and makes me work harder ;D
    Marc you're right, realy hard to get that beauties but realy plaesure to work with this species even though had only salted skins without any measurements :-\. This is my first time I had scops owl on workbench ;D and I felt in love with that little owl. Such a pity all of them belongs to museum, not for my collection :'(
    Cindy, in my opinion you are getting better with every single bird and realy do great job girl!!! Keep on going and everyhing will be perfect ;D just luv that blue faced finch

    thanks for the compliments. it's scotch tape on the side pocket. I put the tape after grooming for the first 24 hrs of drying or until I can get back to it for some touchups.

    Beautiful woodies, do you use the scotch tape to allow you to see the feather placement or another reason.

    Heres a very small chicused a spool of tgred to show his size.not sure what kibd but hes so cute...im goung to attempt a bb quail...soon [​IMG]
