Hello! How do you prep the skull for the beetles? ;D

    Taxidermy Nutt yup, i can b cray-Z!

the skull has to be free of as much blood and meat as possible. not meaning all the meat just some. the meat and everything has to b pretty much dry. you will want to move the eyeballs and most of the brain if you dont want it to stink later or stink so bad. beetles are good and i do plan on getting some. i know all this because i take my skulls to a friend and that is what i was told and they are usually cleaned depending on the size of the colony 3 days.

yes i remove as much meat as possible eyeballs are also removed, i blow the brains out with an air compresser (don't point the hole toward you) then i let mine dry like jerky before they go in.

Thanks all. I appreciate it. I have a bid in on a Beetle colony, and a bunch of raw skulls and can't wait to get started
