I have a couple of shorted caped deer. I am looking for Ideas that are out side of the neck mount. Thought of putting corn stalks or other type of effects around the neck. I know that this happens all the time, what are your solutions?

Get creative with a wall hang rock habitat.

Matt has the right idea, do something different and create a scene to hide it. I personally don't do neck mounts, but if the cape is cut close at the legs/brisket, I will suggest a scene which gives the client a custom mount.

Matt X2. I don't do neck mounts either. It seems no matter how good the mount is, the short neck seems to alway take away from that.

This is one I took in that the customer had cut short and i mounted it up adding a tree branch/habitat. The customer really liked it!
