    What colors would a guy use to paint a crawdad thanks for any input

    look at a reference pic, what colors do you see?

    google them, there are 1000000000 different color combinations lol,

    I use a med bass green painted lightly. then varnish which brings out the color.
  5. Gosh, I think I've seen a post about this before... there's so many different species of crayfish across the US? You're probably going to have to come up with your own color schedule :-\ to match the reference photos you have. I have one I use for rusty crayfish (an invasive here, but they're plentiful and cheap if you have a bucket of DA). If you want I can PM it to you, but it might not match your species of crayfish at all. I can't remember the colors off the top of my head but there's a bunch, and to make it efficient I paint a whole pile of them at one time (I like using them in my habitat displays).
