What Device Works Best For Cleaning Flesh from Bobcat and Fox Pelts?

    Thanks so much! I will look up necker knives. What about the square ended device sold in taxidermy catalogs to flesh small areas? It looks like a garden implement. Or the "yellow thing" that looks like a human hand holding a single edged razor blade?

    I bought a 'yellow thing' from tazzymoto. I really like it for splitting eyes/lips and thinning around eyes and nosepad prior to mounting. Doesn't completely remove the need for practice, but it has definately helped me out. He threw in two helping hand hangars as a bonus. I love to support entrepreneurs!

    I use a bird flesher.The larger one works well.
