I will be there! I am doing a seminar on painting a male steelhead Friday afternoon. Should be a great time!!! Im a board member, and I have talked to several people that are coming from several states bringing some really, really nice work. So it should be a great time.

Looking foreward to seeing new faces there, as well as old ones.

Im skinning out my competition piece right now actually. Hopefully get it finished in time!!!!!

Hopefully others respond to this post.

I have really enjoyed the Iowa show in the past but Iowa is having their show the same week end as Kansas this year and I like to go to both states. So now I have to decide which one. Really wish they were like the past years. Kansas last week end of March Iowa first weekend of April. Maybe next year????

Don!!! Its been a while since Ive seen you! Iowa, Kansas, and Illinois all have the conventions at the same time this year.

I talked to the board about not scheduling around these for next year. Hopefully they listen.

I will run into you somewhere this year. Im going to try my best to make it to Nebraska this year! You guys made me feel at home. Got flooded out of your state last year, though, and couldn't make it.

Well, JohnC is giving a seminar on fish in KS, and Jimmy is giving one on fish in IA. I plan on making one or the other. I wish they were having them on different weekends too. Ohio is also that weekend, so the midwest will be spread thin!

I just pre-registered this weekend. I really look forward to seeing everyone again. I had a great time last year for my first competition. I'm sure I will be getting my ass handed to me in the pro division though. Either way I'm sure I will learn a bunch!!

  9. two weeks, see you their.

  10. I will be there as well. This will be a first for me and not sure what to expect. Bringing my 16 year old son with me so I know somebody there. If anyone else is going from the I.C. area and needs a ride, I should heve some room.

You guys need to put your taxi.net names on your badges so we know who you are. I'll have my taxi.net on mine for sure, of course I even have mine on my driver's license.

I might try putting 'Cole' on mine so I can take home some hardware this year.

Do you have your taxi.net name on your driver's license too?

Sure is...that is how dedicated I am to taxi.net

Yeah, I'm not sure what to expect out of my mounts this year. I guess as long as my score is higher than last years entry, then I'm at least headed in the right direction...lol.

LMAO, No chit!! Cole really cleaned house last year. I can't wait to see what you bring this year Cole. Are you bringing that bobcat?

Kurt, I'm sure you will do fine.

I'm planning on being there friday morning to check in my mounts, then I'm gonna head to the casino for a few hours to kill some time before things get rolling. I'll have room if anyone wants to tag along.

  18. Looking foreward to meeting you guys sounds like it will be a good time. Trying to figure out what time I should take off work on Friday in order to get all checked in and still make the 1oclock siminar. How long should I plan for checking in a mount?

  19. it depends if their is a line. i would count on ten minutes for each mount. see you their.

Mounted my show fish two days ago. Gonna start painting my other one tomorrow. WOOOT WOOOT. I am realy really excited to see all the mounts this year. And yes, Cole usually does kick our asses. Its great having all the out of staters come to the show. Between Wisconsin, and Missouri there isn't usually much left over for us Iowa folks. . . . . . . LMAO>

I will be there doing a seminar Friday, and setting up tables Thursday(painting a fish in my hotel room for the show as well im sure). I will look foreward to seeing many faces.

Like cole said, if your handle on here isnt your name, put it on your nametag!!!!!

If I ribbon, I will be happy. I am looking foreward to seeing old faces, than I am winning anything.
