Way to go Medic on your first place mirror koi..
;D congratulations ;D happy for you...
I know, I know this has nothing to do with the beautiful fish or likely the person entering the fish but the tag says coy and it should be spelled koi.
glad to help edumacate someone. ;D
woops my bad---someone crossed it out and re wrote it. ;D
congrats fish medic, very nice mount
Gary......You must know as far as spelling goes.....taxidermists are not an elite group. Coy comes pretty close.....boy, coy ass- wrasse ( or is it rass?) snook.....past perfect tense of sneak???? skin - skun (no such word) Jewfish (no longer correct) gar -car (easy)
The English language makes no complete sense.......bomb, tomb, comb...........sound the same? NO! Spelling is a visual thing....in your head......gotta remember them all.
Not too many Roads (LOL) scholars in the trade.
Congratulations! Beautiful paint job on that koi
Well done and continue to work hard and study more fish!
Thanks to all for the comments!! I learned alot of areas that I need to work on!
Gary, the lady at the registration desk wrote "coy". I had to cross it out and re-write it. Didn't want the judge looking for coys in his reference book!
The fins on this fish were purchased from JKnuth! An awesome match for my original reproduction!
Im glad they worked for ya.
Best fins I've ever worked with!! They were perfect!
good thing Josh had fins for you---What happened to the fish fins from the fish?
In my haste to get this piece done. I failed to put a release agent in my mold for my fins so I have some fins still clinging to the mold! Ugggggh!! ;D
So Josh saved my butt!!
Ahh, no release---------that will do it.
