Bobcat Question

    I just received the form for bobcat. Lifesize, reaching for a bird. I noticed that the paws are not very defined, do you guys carve in the toes or cut a little off and use clay.

    i cut them off on every mammal i do no matter if they are detailed or not , i feel i can get a better job on a foot using clay and modeling it from the outside

    My current project is a leaping bobcat. I skinned her out earlier, here's a photo with the skinned left front foot next to the form. Hope this helps.

    Clay is flexible. Unless you can carve those feet exactly right the first time and have them positioned correctly, use clay.
