Any interest in smaller turned bases?

I have started messing around with my lathe, making some bowls and such (keeps the wife from getting mad at me for spending so much time in the garage, LOL....)

I was wondering if there would be any interest in turned bases such as this. This one is pretty small, about 4.5" across by 3' tall but would be good for a smaller bird, fish or small mammal.

I can build these up to 10" across. You can turn it either way, up or down. This is just rough turned out of canarywood, it still needs some finish work. Let me know what you think.





Options on shapes and profiles are pretty much endless.

 

I can turn pieces up to 11' diameter. The height depends on what I can have available at the lumber yard, but with my equipment, I can turn up to 15" in length. t
