Anyone want to come up to Alaska next spring 2011 and do a black bear hunt. Spot and stalk.. No bait, no food, no gimmicks.. all fair chase, in the mountains of Prince williams sound. GMU 6D, Limit of 1 black bear here.. If you want more.. I can arrange that too in another area.. Limit is up to 3 in other areas..

I am interested in hunting a Elk.. preffer Bow, but will use a gun, blackpowder, grenades, what ever.. Just want to kill a dang elk someday.. LOL..

Costs on your end would be airfare up here.. License, tag(s) and split the cost of gas, tunnel, boat launch, parking 50/50.. Guessing from the average of the past 7 years it would be in the ball park of 300 bucks in expenses.. plus 85 for a license and 225 for a bear tag.. plus airfare and baggage fees.. easily done for under a grand..Lodging is free as You can stay at my house food is free too.. LOL..

Looking for the same set up in the lower 48.. Not in a draw area, no auctions, no fences, high or low..and no gimmicks.. I just want to fly down their purchase a license, tag and go kill a dam elk fair chase fo course.. I would be comming down their in the fall of 2011.. That way you can kill a toad of a black bear first and try extra hard to ensure we find some elk.. ;D

Would also consider a Mule deer and pronghorn combo.. Never killed those either..

If its not bears your after, we can go for caribou... (this fall) 2010 or next, either way.. Figured I would post this now to give someone time to save up for next year..

Hoytman you are more than welcome to join us in elk camp no guarantees on shooting we are still learning as we were big mule deer hunters till about five years ago, we suddenly went all out on elk, we do usually bring home at least one a year from a one week camp between the three of us, I can put you near elk getting them in bow range is up to you after that (although we have bugled in the last three we have killed) We are not the trophy hunting types so we usually end up with our first opportunity but we have definitely been up close with a few nice bad boys with failed attempts. With the wife out of work I wouldn't be able to come up there, and you would probably be put to work helping cook in camp. If you like fishing we usually take a couple afternoons and spend them on Henry's fork for world class fly fishing.
