Alligator eye size

    I have a 9.5 foot gator in the freezer that has been wet tanned. I haven't relaxed the skin yet to measure the eye opening. Is there any rule of thumb I can use to find the correct eye size that would work for this?

    just call Mckenzie and tell them the size of your gator and they have a chart with the eye sizes and will fix you right up.

    They will get you close it should be around 22-24mm

    That is about what I was thinking, the 22 - 24mm. I think I just used a 26mm on an 11.5' gator head and it was a decent size.

    The 22mm should be good for a 9.5' I just did a 10.5' and it was a 24mm
