Fishworks your digging yourself a deeper hole...let it go...what geoge is saying is right..everybody has there own methods..and by the way steaming them, weakens the shell itself, they become twice as brittle...for me the meat is easier to remove in the snot like state then the cooked or steamed state

I soak mine in a bucket of denatured alcohol for a few weeks then positon and dry. But i might have to try that injection method next time.

Well there Newbie Fishworks, yes I'm bragging, "you betcha"...I was also shocked at winning at all. I'm not a young person but I'm learning fast because of people like George, Crabcrazy and Tom Voyer, and many many others....you should be so lucky. It might not be a bad idea to change your handle and come back on here ready to learn and not to bully. Hit that spell check every now and then, too. Enough said.

I was born in NC, daughter of a sailor(Retired), wife of a Marine(Retired), mother of only 1 child (my 'Cellist daughter) Not allergic to poison ivy, and drink my bourbon neat. I hate taking lip from anyone even if I'm wrong. I'll be your friend, help you out, and work hard.
