    Nice pics.
    They make great pets. Way more fun to watch than fish.

    I found this one when she was the size of a quarter :D She swam right up to me and I moved her so I wouldn't step on her. She came right back to me so I said "OK you win" :D

    And your right, they do have a lot of small details to them.

    FYI Both your painteds are males. Only males have the long front claws., they use them in "foreplay".

    I had mine sexed and they said it was a female. ???

    This site say's mine is a male too.
    I think the ones that told me it was a female need a new job. :D
