Coyote with lice

    pending the severity of the infestation, most coyotes if they stink bad and are "greasy" feeling are not worth enough to put up for the fur market, or to mount. show the customer and suggest he shoot another better coyote before he spends big $ to mount or tan it. if he still wants it worked, say okaaaaay!

    It’s more or less mange as I’ve seen them little critters but either way I use permitium on them . Play it safe as if you have pets it can spread

    Bag em' and use perithium (sp) as Frank suggested, and that goes for deer capes as well if they come in fresh and not frozen. I trapped for damage control on coyotes and beavers for many years. In some spots mange would be a problem usually within a family unit denning up together. All had fleas and ticks to varying degrees. If I got a turkey and it didn't have lice I would faint. Ever wonder why they dust themselves?
