I have all the meat removed what should i soak the skull in before bleaching to remove the grease from the bone? Dawn? mineral spirit? etc?

I soak mine in straight ammonia or sometimes gasoline if they're really greasy. I use a 5 gal. bucket with a lid. Keep it somewhere warm or you won't get all the grease out. Every couple of weeks take it out and dry it in the sun to see if the grease is gone.

Warm meaning in my shop around 60-80 degrees instead of 20-40 degrees outside. I do empty it when not in use. Lately, I use more ammonia than gas for safety reasons, but if I have a stubborn one, gas is sometimes the only way to get it out short of doing it the way that Michael P. told me one time, but he swore me to secrecy on that...
